There are a number of very good restaurants sprinkled throughout Chatsworth. And, although it has been a tough job trying most of them, somebody had to do it!!

Indian:

If you like you Indian food spicy then this is the place for you!! The menu offers typical North Indian food plus several South Indian choices.

Favorite Dish: Tandorri Chicken (try the Naam bread. fantastic)!!

Wonderful fresh sushi with a great offering of unique sushi rolls ideas.
Favorite dish:  Try the cucumber roll.  It uses cucumber in lieu of sea weed as the wrapping!!!  Delicious in a “Fresh” sort of way.

Mexican:

A rocking atmosphere with great Mexican food.  Operating in Chatsworth since 1967, Los Toros is a popular dining destination in Chatsworth so be prepared to wait for a table.  The good part is the you can have a Margarita while you wait (The margarita are perfect cocktail to cool off a hot Chatsworth day)
Favorite Dish: Arroz con Camarones.  This is a can’t miss shrimp dish!!

Honorable Mention:  For authentic Mexican that is great for takeout, try Carnitas Michocan. Great Burritos.

Burger Joint:

The Munch Box

The Munch Box is a longtime Chatsworth establishment.  Serving burgers 1957, it truly is a hamburger stand; ad the physical structure is barely large enough to hose the three workers inside.  The food is good but the ambience is better especially on a balmy summer evening!

Favorite Dish: Try the Western Hot Dog!!!
