Located on the west side of Chatsworth tucked in the Santa Susana mountains. Chatsworth Park is a fantastic park for picnicking or hosting an outdoors party. (We have had multiple birthday parties for our children here). There are great facilities for BBQ, playgrounds for the kids and miles of hiking trails. If you are a horse lover, this is a horse friendly park. This is an overall favorite of the Ambrose family.

Located in the heart of Chatsworth, Mason Park offers a community center, outdoor basketball courts, and softball fields, and playgrounds for the kids An Ambrose family favorite is a stop by the Baskin Robbins (on Mason & Devonshire) and walk over to Mason Park on a warm summer afternoon.

Stoney Point Park, although small in size, is know for it rock climbing or ‘bouldering’ activities. Located right off the 118 FWY at Topanga, Stoney Point (a.k.a Rocky Peak) is one of the quintessential Chatsworth icons. This site should give you a good idea of the climbing activities at Stoney Point.

The Chatsworth branch library provides free access to computer workstations which are connected to the Library's information network. In addition to providing Internet access, these workstations enable the public to search LAPL's many electronic resources including the online catalog, over 100 subscription databases, word processing, language learning, literacy and a large historic document and photograph collection. Specially designed Web sites are provided for children, teens and Spanish speakers.
An Ambrose Family favorite….check out the free story telling / arts & crafts classes sponsored by the library every Tuesday at 3:30pm. A great way to spend 30 minutes with your children!
