Located on the west side of Chatsworth tucked in the Santa Susana mountains.  Chatsworth Park is a fantastic park for picnicking or hosting an outdoors party. (We have had multiple birthday parties for our children here).  There are great facilities for BBQ, playgrounds for the kids and miles of hiking trails.  If you are a horse lover, this is a horse friendly park. This is an overall favorite of the Ambrose family.

Stoney Point Park, although small in size, is know for it rock climbing or ‘bouldering’ activities.  Located right off the 118 FWY at Topanga, Stoney Point (a.k.a Rocky Peak) is one of the quintessential Chatsworth icons.
This site should give you a good idea of the climbing activities at Stoney Point.
