Chatsworth started its early days as a stage coach pass, the first stop know by early pioneers as the Santa Susana rely station. Later, the railroad came to Chatsworth in 1893 with the rail road station being built that same year. That legacy continues to benefit Chatsworth residences today as the Chatsworth train station affords quick access to both commuter and long range train services.
Metrolink Trains: The premier regional rail system, including commuter and other passenger services, linking communities to employment and activity centers all around the Los Angeles area. A favorite of daily commuters headed to Burbank, Glendale, downtown and beyond.

If you want to venture further by train, Chatsworth train station is also a stop for Amtrak. One of the more popular Amtrak routes available from Chatsworth is the Pacific Surfliner. The Pacific Surfliner runs from the wine country of Pasa Robles to the Beaches of San Diego. As with many other communities within Los Angeles, Chatsworth is serviced by the MTA (Metro Transit Authority). Just recently named as Nation’s 2006 Outstanding Public Transportation System.
